What tools can VoiceChange administrator use? What tasks is usually doing?

• User management - in MS Exchange and Lotus Notes
• Configuration of company greeting
• Monitoring of actual VoiceChange state via UmsMonitor program.
• Getting support information about installed UMS products (ID of license etc) via UmsInfo program.
• Configuration of VoiceChange tasks via UmsTaskCfg program (see How does VoiceChange works?).

  Three tools mentioned above can be also run from Management console, which is located under Start menu - Voicechange.

• Configuration of automatic deletion of old messages.
• Showing VoiceChange statistics

Other tasks, not documented elsewhere:

• If you overstep maximal number of client licenses, VoiceChange will stop working. You have to buy more client licenses or lower number of users. It may be done in following way:
  • MS Exchange and SMTP/POP3 gateway: delete some of user mailboxes (directories) in /VoiceChange/archive/ directory. Deleted users will lose their voice messages and will not be counted into number of active users.
  • Lotus Notes gateway: delete some users from VoiceChange administrative database.
