Administration of Lotus Notes users

Functions of VoiceChange Lotus Notes gateway:

VoiceChange users database is stored on VoiceChange home Notes server in file DsVx\VX_admin.nsf. Only users added to this database can use VoiceChange. Administrator can add users to VoiceChange database manually using agent in Public Address Book or they can be added automatically when Voicechange recognizes user as voice message recipient or if user is caller.

Configuration of VoiceChange with Lotus Notes gateway can be done in Lotus Notes database. This basic configuration stored in profile document you can view and modify using "Set Voice Change Parameters" command in "Actions" menu.

Every user stored in administrative database has set in VoiceMail Availability item, if he is voice mail user. Only users with voice mail enabled are treated as Voicechange license consumers.
VoiceMail Availability item can contain one of three values:

Predefined value is Enable on first call. In this state voice mail will be enabled for this user, if there is at least one license avalable at the moment of sending first voice message to the user.
You can change voice mail setting for more users together using Actions->Modify user options menu.

Notice:

In this version of Voicechange are used phone number from public address book for user lookup (message routing), so they aren't stored in administrative database to avoid duplicity. In profile document you can set which numbers are "secure", so if user calls from such numbers into his voice mailbox, he will not be asked for password.
