How to allow user to use WCfO application? (MS Exchange 2000/2003)
Custom attributes are not displayed in "Active Directory Users and Computers" by default. So you have to switch this application to "Advanced Features" mode.
Run "Active Directory Users and Computers" from Start Menu - Programs - Administrative Tools. Click on root of your directory tree using right mouse button. Select View -> Advanced Features.
Now you can modify Custom attributes of users.
If anybody wants to connect to WCfO, NT account is searched in MS Exchange directory in "Custom 9" field.
So if you want to allow user to use WCfO, fill his/her NT domain and name into "Custom 9" field
of his/her mailbox properties.
Always use "domain\account" form here.
If you've already used "Custom 9" field for some other functions in your company,
please contact our Support Department - we will help you how to change property used by WCfO.
