Product implements integration of voice mail into e-mail environment and enables development of custom voice applications. Voicechange as a voice mail is integrated in Microsoft Exchange Server and Lotus Notes. The application enables receiving of voice mail directly from the environment of client e-mail, or voice mail retrieval using a telephone. Developing of voice applications with VOICECHANGE is easy. Highly open VoiceChange system enables fast development of applications and easy connection with any information system.
VoiceChange enables reception of voice mail directly in the user's mail client. Users are free to play the messages directly on their computer using sound card, or the messages can be retrieved using a phone.
Playing the Messages On a Computer
Users equipped with multimedia computers can play the messages directly on their computers. The advantage of this is easy browsing of messages, deletion of unwanted messages, and forwarding of messages to other users.
Phone Retrieval
The messages can also be retrieved by phone. Upon entry, the user is prompted for a personal identification number and a password required to enter the system. Then, the user navigates through a voice menu similar to the voice mail services of mobile operators.
SMS Notification
In connection with MobilChange it is possible to notify a user about an incoming voice mail by sending an SMS mesasage to a mobile phone.
With integration in the electronic mail environment, training of users is easy, fast and system administration is simple.
The environment for work with messages is identical to one for e-mailing, therefore it simplifies operation from the user side and minimizes training costs.
User Administration
User administration is integrated in Microsoft Exchange Server and Lotus Notes by default, which makes the system administration considerably easier.
VoiceChange is an open IVR system that enables easy and fast development of custom voice applications. The applications can be developed using Visual Basic Script, which allows for easy and fast modifications in applications. This technology provides system openness and easy integration with any IS or application.
Brooktrout
Brooktrout cards are specialized fax/voice cards intended for highly demanding applications. In combination with VoiceChange, the cards can carry very heavy traffic.
FaxChange-VoiceChange Card Sharing
VoiceChange is able to share Brooktrout cards with FaxChange server. Both products can be installed on one computer using current hardware as is.
CLASS X Modems
VoiceChange currently supports CLASS X modems. The current list of supported and tested modems is on the Web. CLASS X modems are suitable for less demanding applications with lower traffic density.
Fax-Back and Fax-on-Demand
VoiceChange supports-connected with FaxChange-the fax-back and fax-on-demand features. In the environment of voice application, sending of prepared fax-messages in an open connection (fax-on-demand) or in a new connection (fax-back) is possible. In connection with FaxChange you can convert documents that are dynamically created during a voice connection.
Automatic Switching of Incoming Calls
VoiceChange enables you to create a fully customizable automatic operator. It is possible to create a menu for switching to specific offices, or automatically switch the calls according to the number of a person calling (ISDN lines only).
Fax-on-Demand Applications, Info Lines
A company can create an information line using VoiceChange. Within this line, it can present its customers and associates with information about services, prices and market news.
In connection with FaxChange, you can create fax-on-demand services. For example, create a line which upon calling offers a choice of products and sends a current price-list for the item chosen by fax. Sending is made in the same connection and therefore it is covered by the calling party.
Another option of a fax-on-demand could be the sending of an account list or of last weeks invoice. The application structure is always the same. VoiceChange retrieves the information from IS using a VB Script and the resulting document is converted with FaxChange into TIFF format, and then sent by fax.
The World Standard
The Visual Basic programming language has actually become the world standard. Availability of information and training materials is trouble free - a number of manuals and training courses are available in many language versions.
Availability of Trained Programmers
There is a large number of administrators and programmers who are able to program in Visual Basic or modify applications. As the language is so simple, to train a developer is a short-term task as well as acquiring a good knowledge of the language and application development.
Easy Integration in Other Systems
Today, many systems support Visual Basic, e.g. Microsoft Office, other office systems or extensive information systems. Therefore, it is no problem to provide connection between voice application developed in Visual Basic script and any other information system.
Easy and Fast Modification of Applications
The Visual Basic script is an interpreted language, that's why any kind of application modification is very simple and it can be done using any text editor directly on the production computer. Due to this, modifications of developed voice application can be done very quickly and changes can become operative practically immediately.
