Automatic appointment reminder by SMS messages (SMS reminder) |
SMS Reminder allows mobile phone users with MS Exchange mail server to be notified about forthcoming events and meetings, which they have written in their calendar.
Administrator only has to fill in your mobile phone number into your mailbox properties and then you can freely switch event/meeting notification on and off.

Text before meeting information (MEETING REMINDER) is configurable in registry.
It is realized by sending of predefined SMS message to Mobilchange server. Such message must begin with "?n" chars. A parameter follows which can, but doesn't have to be separated by space. No other text is allowed.
Parameter for:
You will receive a report if your command has been successfully proceed.
?ny, ?n on, ?n1 – subscribe to the notification service
?nn, ?n off, ?n0 – unsubscribe from the notification service
These aren't all possible options, use that which is simplest for you.
You will be notified for every event in your calendar, which has "Reminder" checkbox set. Notification will be sent in time specified in time specified in "Reminder time" listbox in calendar. Calendar is checked every five minutes (by default, can be changed. Ask your administrator), so notification may be sent up to five minutes before time you’ve set to reminder.
Another significant parameter is a time frame to the future, inside which events are checked. If this time frame is one week, you'll not be notified about events, which have set reminder to 2 week before start. Reason is that at the time, when event will be checked (one week before start), reminder will be beyond his validity.
