Problem description:

MobilChange version 4 uses address for sending SMS messages in syntax [SMS:number], earlier version (up to version 3.1.12) used syntax [GSM:number].

If you have upgraded to MobilChange 4 and you still need to use [GSM:number] syntax for any reason, you must install GSM gateway.

Solution:

• Copy file ex2kgw_setup.setup_ini from UMS CD support\Mobilchange\GSM gateway in UMS 4.0 folder to Mobilchange server into MobilChange\setup folder.
  On the beginning of the file add these lines: uid= user account used for MobilChange services, pwd= password for this account and instpath= path to Mobilchange folder; so it will look like this:

  instpath=C:\Mobilchange\
  uid=DOMAIN\USER
  pwd=PASSWORD
  @CopyFile %srcdir%\gwf\*.* | %instpath%bin\gwf\ | O
  ...
  

• stop MobilChange.Gateway.SMS service (MobilChange.Kernel can be running)
• run DS_setup.exe program from command line with this file as parameter:
  C:\Mobilchange\setup\DS_setup ex2kgw_setup.setup_ini
• when installation finishes, start Mobilchange services, for gateways set Startup type to Automatic
• to display correct MobilChange Connector in Exchange System Manager you need to register MMC snap-in MxGwAdmG.ocx, this file is located in Mobilchange\bin folder. Register it for example by this command: Reggie MxGwAdmG.ocx. After successful registration you will see two MobilChange connectors in Exchange System Manager, every for different SMS address type.
