Problem description:

If you have big multidomain organization with more branches and you want to allow all users to work with SMS messages, you do not have to install Mobilchange to all Exchange servers, but to the only server - usually main server in the organization, on the central of organization. Next you configure SMS gateway properties to be functional for all users.

Solution:

Here is description for company with central and one branch.

Central has DNS domain ds-ums.cz, Exchange server ZL02 is installed here located in administrative group named "First administrative Group".
Branch has DNS domain zl.ds-ums.cz with Exchanger server TS2 located in "Group ZL" administrative group.

Both administrative groups are connected through communication connector (SMTP, X400...) to allow users send mail from one administrative group to another (mail connectivity is important!) If both Exchanges are in the same administrative group, mail connectivity is created automaticaly (no need to create any connector).

Mobilchange is installed by standard method on central server ZL02. Now users can create messages with SMS recipient, because address template is available in whole organization. To be able to send such messages, you must set correct "connector scope" on ZL02 server.
 

Select in Exchange System manager you administrative group - Connectors - Mobilchange SMS connector, right click here and select Properties - Address Space. Set Connector scope to Entire organization (see the picture).

On Delivery Restriction tab you can set what messages (from which sender) gateway will accept or reject; by default it accepts all messages. Administrator can change this setting according his needs.
 

Further information:

In this way all users in the enterprise can send a receive SMS messages. But some Mobilchange applications will not work - e.g. Mobile Connection will be functional on ZL02 server only (central). Mobile Connection can work only with mailboxes on the same server, where Mobilchange is installed.
