Problem: | How to create SMS custom recipients in MS Exchange/Active Directory correctly? |
Problem description:
If the administrator wants to create for all users, who have cellular phone, an alternative recipient (Custom Recipient) in MS Exchange directory or Active Directory for simple SMS sending, he creates something similiar to this:
The result we usually get is an unsuitable behavior of clients programs that offer selection between normal and GSM address which is obviously unpleasant.
Solution:
The right procedure is to create Custom recipient without filling the fields "First Name" and "Last Name" and with the field "Alias" beginning with other character than by normal address -- for example with a "s" added to the beginning like SMS.
Users then can write e.g. "Zeleny" for usual mailbox of this recipient and "sZeleny" for SMS sending.
