For correct function of Mobilchange with SMTP/POP3 servers you must set message routing with "any@sms" nebo "any@sms.sms" adress types to single mailbox (named Mobilchange, for example) on your mail server. If your server is not able of such setting and Mobilchange is installed separately from mail server, you can install SMTP receiver. Mobilchange then acts as a receiving SMTP server and you need only to set your mail server to route all mails for "@sms" or "@sms.sms" domains to Mobilchange server. If you want to use SMTP receiver, install Mobilchange with SMTP/POP3 gateway according to this description (POP3 server name and password can be any) and then install SMTP receiver - setup offer you this option.

It is possible to access SMTP server with authentication. In this case you must after installation enter username and password for authentication (smtp_username and smtp_password values) under registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Datasys\FaxChange\global\smtp_pop3. If username is empty, no authentication is done (default setting). Only "LOGIN" method is supported, what means plaintext encapsulated into base64.
 

You have selected to install the SMTP/POP3 gateway. At the first screen you have to enter your POP3 and SMTP mail servers.
Now enter the name of default SMS receiver. We recommend to create a special e-mail account named for example "MobilChange". To the field below please enter the password. CAUTION! The password stays unencrypted by the time of installation as same as later in registry!
At this moment please enter the administrator's mailbox. Administrator will receive all warnings or problems messages or alerts.
