| Statistic module |
Module enables to display counters (like performace monitor), selecting time interval and graph resolution. Available are counters for incoming faxes, outgoing faxes (by line, total...), lines performance in percent, sucessfully delivered faxes, nondelivered faxes...
Excel files working with COM object can be used only on computers where administration utilities 4.0.30 (FaxChange 4.0 SP1) and later are installed. Right for registry reading from the computer running FaxChange server is required for loading performace data (see KBFX19981012A.html).
On the CD is also tool for exporting data about faxes into text files and Excel table for reading fax archive content (see next paragraph).

You will be prompted for WWW document root and scripts (CGI) directory. Your browser must support PNG graphic format.
support\FaxChange\statistics_com contains COM object installation for accessing performance data
from Excel, Visual Basic etc. and template for MS Excel.
support\FaxChange\fxStat is tool for exporting data about faxes into files. Register fxStat.dll and
configure connection to Faxchange database in fxStat.vbs file. In the folder you also find description of usage and output data format.
support\FaxChange\ExcelStats folder. No installation is necessary,
only ODBC data source for database access must be configured first. Configuration description and usage can be found in Word document
in the same folder.
Statistic data are stored for 100 days by default. Value can be changed in registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Datasys/FaxChange/perf/global/maxday
Currently performace data are available from Brooktrout and CAPI line drivers, other modules generating statistic data will be developed in the future.
