Problem description:

In Faxchange 2.0 and 3.0 it was necessary to be logged on under account with administrative rights if user wanted to administer Faxchange remotely.

FaxChange 4.0 can be administered by user without administrative privileges.

Solution:

Do these operations:

• Give access rights (Full Control) to FaxChange share on the server for users which should be Faxchange administrators.
• Run REGEDT32 and set access rights to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Datasys key include subkeys to these users.
• Also give rights to the HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurePipeServers\winreg registry key. This is necessary for normal users to be able to access registry remotely, see Technet PSS ID Number: Q153183 for more information.
