Information about individual configurations

CallChange can be installed in different configurations. Read all information related to your configuration.

Operating system

Both CallChange server and clients can be installed on Windows NT 4.0, 2000, 2003 a XP operating systems. We recommend to patch OS by current service pack.
Older systems (Windows NT 3.x, Windows 9x/Me) aren't supported a setup quits installation, when such system is detected.

Client e-mail software for MS Exchange Server

Client side of CallChange (standard component) cooperates with MS Exchange client. Outlook 2000 and higher is supported, Exchange client 4.0/5.0 doesn't work with CallChange.
Maybe Outlook 97 and 98 also works, but these versions weren't tested.

Installation disk - network installation

CallChange installation can be started from local disk (CD-ROM) or from mapped network drive -- disk must have letter assigned. Installation from network folder specified by UNC path (for example shared CD-ROM drive opened through "Network Neighbourhood / Network Places") is not possible.

Hardware

Minimal configuration (only CallChange runs on the PC): Most important is amount of available RAM. We can say if CallChange is installed on the server where other applications run (Exchange, SQL...), you should add at least 32 MB RAM.

We recommend at least Pentium II (Celeron) 300 MHz with 128 MB RAM or better computer.
