Installation of Mobile Connection for Lotus Notes

Mobile Connection for Notes is tool for accessing mail, contacts or meetings in calendar on your Lotus Notes server using mobile phone and MobilChange application. Its installation is executed by Installation of Mobile Connection for Notes command in menu Start -> Programs -> MobilChange -> Setup of components. When started, the classic installation window appears and demands the activation key. After filling the form continue by pressing the "Next" button.

Enter path to your Lotus Notes/Domino server here.

Enter path to DATA directory of Lotus Notes/Domino server here. If Lotus Notes runs on different server, you must enter path in UNC format or map share from the server as a network drive.

Enter your Lotus Notes/Domino server name.

Now enter name of Address Book (standard name is names.nsf). If it is in different directory than DATA folder of Lotus Notes server, you must enter complete path.

Next operations needs Lotus Notes/Domino server to be running. Use Lotus Notes client to create UMSAdmins group in Address Book. Then add user to this group, which will be used by script for connecting to Lotus server. Attention: This operation can execute only administrator with right for this operation !

Enter path to user's ini file (probably notes.ini) in Lotus\Notes directory. Enter path to user's ID file, which script will use for connecting to server. Preferably it should be administrator's ID, or ID, which has sufficient right for correct application run. Then enter path to user's mail database (script's working database).

Enter user's password, which script use for connecting to server. This password is the same as password for ID file entered in previous window in middle textbox.

If you passed all dialogs and installation program didn't encounter any problems, information about successfull installation appears in last window. Now you should reboot computer.
