Cover Banner si tool made for mainly for ISP. Allows them use FaxChange SMTP so they can add promotion banner into the fax.
Application Cover Banner is part of FaxChange program.
File for use as new baner must have correct resolution and width (204*196, 1728 width). If it isn't true, program will ignore this file. TIF file including banner can be obtained for example through print graphic file to client printer. FaxChange offers fax (mail) sending. Required TIFF file is attached to this new message.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Datasys\FaxChange\global\render this way:
BannerAfterCoverSheet=
- "0" - (default) banner is placed in front of coversheet
- "1" - banner is placed behind coversheet
BannerCount=
- "n" - n is count of "rendered" banners for coversheet (for example if you send one fax to one address and then
reject sending of this fax from the preview, BannerCount is increased by 2. If you send 1 fax to 10 addresses,
BannerCount will be increased by 11. Banner loading and sending refuse increases BannerCount too.
BannerName=
- "filename" - path to tiff file with banner. FaxChange format: 1728 width, 204x196 dpi
(if banner dies not having such parameters then will be ignored). It is possible to enter path in format disc:\
or UNC path - \\.
UseBanner=
- "0" - (default) banner will not be rendered into the coversheet
- "1" - banner will be rendered into the coversheet
