Problem: | Changes in Lotus Notes gateway in UMS 2.1 |
Problem description:
From UMS release 2.1 is improved support for Lotus Notes-Domino R5.
Solution:
UMS dokuments including attached forms are signed by using of that ID which is used for GW task.
Now administrator and users have possibility to remove warning messages (showed by Notes R5 client
during UMS documents opening) without decrease of security.
Names of databases and folders are created from small letters and letter '/' (instead of letter '\') is used as
separator to describe paths.
Reason of this change is tendency to improve integration with Domino servers running on Unix systems.
UMS was tested with mail server Domino R5, running on Linux RedHat 6.0.
Setup process registers installed databases by using process "catalog"
on server.
Further information:
During setup you don't need to set outbox.nsf
as users mail database whose ID is used to run FaxChange.
Therefore this ID can be used for other purposes, for example to administer UMS.
If yu during installation choose "Support for FaxChange Router", then outbox.nsf
will be set up as
mail database. Router can be installed additionaly and you can configure it manually by setting
outbox.nsf
as mail-in database without option "Support for FaxChange Router".
