Problem: Delivery confirmation content adjusting

Problem description:

In the case when users send many fax messages, which are being continuously sent, user receive delivery confirmation marked with recipients fax number only. Due to this they cannot easily identify concrete message and recognize which message has been sent successfully.
If the user sends for example 5 fax msgs which are further delivered in random order, he will get the delivery confirmation for each message separated. This delivery reports differ only with the phone number of recipient. This is actually unsufficient information for user who does not even remember the content of his fax messages.

Userīs orientation can be improved with placing some additional informations into the subject field or body of delivery report (i.e. subject of sent message or item "Custom ID" from "send options").

Solution:

Regarding to this point, FaxChange can be easily configurated. It is possible to fill the subject field or body of message with
a) subject of sent message,
b) item "Custom ID" from "send options".
Simple fax description for their easy identification can be added by following:

In the directory \\%server%\FaxChange\data\language\<used language code>\ are text files - templates of messages sent to users. These can be modified according to your needs.

Confirmation of (not)sending is stored in files:

fs_001s.txt
fs_001.txt
fs_005s.txt
fs_005.txt ,

where "s" at the end of name means SUBJECT of message, text without "s" in the name of file is used as a text of delivery report.

These files have to be modified by adding text

%user_id% (to insert Custom ID)
%subject% (to insert subject)

to the places, where should be added selected item from original mail message.

Further information:

Warning! Only the first line will be used from the *s.txt files.
