Problem description:

Fax address cannot be created in Personal address book when MS Outlook or MS Exchange is running off-line. Other address types are visible (ex. SMTP).

Solution:

Address forms are not being downloaded to Outlook automatically but have to be synchronized manually. For this (in on-line status) choose

Tools -> Synchronize -> Download Address Book

and you will see all addresses correctly after this action is complete.
