Problem description:

FaxChange contains an internal RTF convertor. This tool is quite powerful and reliable but is limited with abilities of MS RTF object. If you want to convert some complicated RTF documents (or - on MS Exchange - more complicated message body) it could be efficient to replace this convertor with for example MS Word.

Solution:

FaxChange from version 4.0 SP2 offers to use another program for RTF conversion. Into registry's item
HKLM/SOFTWARE/Datasys/FaxChange/global/system/RtfInternalConvert
write "0" (no quotation marks). After restarting the service FaxChange.ConvertMaster will be all RTF documents (and messages on MS Exchange and Lotus Notes) converted with application associated with RTF extension (mostly MS Word).

This RTF conversion is more efficient and can process more complicated documents. On the other hand it use more server resources -- with every sent message will be started MS Word.

Further information:

By this way can be corrected some non-typical errors with conversion RTF documents, ex. non-wrapping of long lines.
