Problem description:

On the server where is FaxChange installed and is available 256 MB RAM or more, is not possible in some circumstances use MS Access as a FaxChange database.

Solution:

In this case it is necessary to add into the file boot.ini on the line where the boot parameters are specified parameter /maxmem:192 and restart server. Please note, that with this setting will the server be able to work with 192 RAM only for all applications.

If it is required to use 256 MB RAM or more on this server, it is necessary to use other DB system than MS Access (MS SQL Server etc.). In the case of license for Standard FaxChange version you will need to contact our sale department and order appropriate key.

Further information:

It is not the error of FaxChange error but of MS Access. On server like this one is not possible to run the MS Access application which tells the error: "...Not enough memory....".

This problem doesn't appear in Faxchange 6.0.
