Problem description:

Faxmodem U.S. Robotics Courier wroks properly about 2 hours and then stop dialing. FaxChange.LineDrv2 service restart doesn't help, restart computer or switching ON/OFF modem help.

Model on which this problems happened: USR Courier V.Everythink X2 56kBps technology

Solution:

Problem is in modem homologous modems USR (for CR) has implemented Blacklist depending on telecommunication company requirements - after some count of call modem response is "DIALING DISABLED" and not call number.

Stop service FaxChange.LineDrv2 and set startup to disabled. Connect using Hyperterminal or other terminal apllication to port on which modem is connected and write these commands:

ATS40=2
AT&W0
AT&W1
