How to install forms into form library manually? |
If Faxchange setup was not able to install forms into prepared form library on the Exchange server, you can do it manually using the client
(Outlook). You must have "Owner" permission assigned to form library for this action. Additionally it is possible
to install forms from the client into one library only, which is visible from client. It depends on form library language and Outlook language.
Czech organizational library is visible for czech Outlook, but english library can not be accessed. So this procedure is suitable in case if
your organization uses the only form library.
In both cases the same dialog will be displayed. Add administrator's mailbox to the list by Add... button and assign it "Owner"
permission in Roles combo. Then press OK.
Now create Outlook profile for administrator, which was assigned right to form library and connect to Exchange using this profile.
Select in menu: (valid for Outlook98 and higher) Tools -> Options, Other tab, button Advanced Options, Custom forms,
Manage forms. Forms Manager shows. Press the right Set button and select library where
forms will be installed into: click to Forms Library and select your organizational form library. Press OK.
Press Install in Forms Manager and browse for Faxchange/etc/Forms folder on disc where Faxchange is INSTALLED. Don't install forms from installation CD - they will not work!!!
Now open in sequence and import all *.cfg files for your language (it means cz-*.cfg for czech form library, uk-*.cfg for english library etc.). There are 17 files for every language - don't forget about any of them.
Press Close when import is completed. Forms are ready for use now.
