Problem: Search server doesn't work if its working mailbox is hidden from address list

Problem description:

If you hide working mailbox of Search server (UMS.Search service ) from address list (in mailbox properties on the "Exchange Advanced" tab is checked "Hide from Exchange address lists"), Search server stops to work because it isn't able to connect to the mailbox.
Error from ConSrchSrv.Core source is logged into eventlog with text: EX server logon failure [step=18,hr=0x80040111].


Solution:

Before you hide the mailbox you must log on under Search server's service account and create Outlook profile for given mailbox. Configure Search server to use this profile, then mailbox can be hidden.
